I am the Alpha and the Omega,-- Rv21,6
the Beginning and the End.
I will give water from the well of life
free to anybody who is thirsty;
anybody who proves victorious will inherit these things;
and I will be his God
and he will be My son.
Let all who are thirsty come:-- Rv22,17b
all who want it may have the water of life,
and have it free.
Since you have been raised up to be with Christ,-- Col3,1-4
you must look for the things that are above,
where Christ is sitting at God's right hand.
Let your thoughts be on things above,
not on the things that are on the earth,
because you have died,
and now the life you have
is hidden with Christ in God.
But when Christ is revealed
- and He is your life -
you, too, will be revealed with Him in glory.
He said to them, ``But who do you say that I am?''-- Mt16,16
Simon Peter said in reply,
``You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.''
Jesus said to him in reply,
``Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah.
For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you,
but My heavenly Father.''
Other people tell us ...-- 1Th1,9
how you broke with the worship of false gods
when you were converted to God
and became servants of the living and true God.
By my own life says the Lord,-- Rm14,11
every knee shall bow before Me,
every tongue shall give glory to God.
Every time the living creatures glorified and honoured-- Rv4,9
and gave thanks to the One sitting on the throne,
who lives for ever and ever,
the twenty-four elders prostrated themselves before Him
to worship the One
who lives for ever and ever,
and threw down their crowns in front of the throne.
If you only knew-- Jn4,10
what God is offering
and who it is
that is saying to you,
`Give me something to drink,'
you would have been the one to ask,
and he would have given you living water.
Whoever drinks this water-- Jn4,13-14
will be thirsty again;
but no one who drinks the water
that I shall give him
will ever be thirsty again:
the water that I shall give him
will become in him a spring of water,
welling up for eternal life.
For as the Father has life in Himself,-- Jn5,26
so He as granted the Son also
to have life in Himself.
In all truth I tell you,-- Jn6,32-33
it was not Moses
who gave you the bread from heaven,
it is My Father
who gives you the bread from heaven,
the true bread;
for the bread of God
is the bread which comes down from heaven
and gives life to the world.
I am the bread of life.-- Jn6,35,39
No one who comes to Me will ever hunger;
no one who believes in Me will ever thirst. ...
It is My Father's will
that whoever sees the Son and believes in Him
should have eternal life,
and that I should raise that person up on the last day.
I am the living bread-- Jn6,51
which has come down from heaven.
Anyone who eats this bread
will live for ever;
and the bread that I shall give
is My flesh,
for the life of the world.
In all truth I tell you,-- Jn6,53-54
if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of man
and drink his blood,
you have no life in you.
Anyone who does eat My flesh and drink My blood
has eternal life,
and I shall raise that person up on the last day.
As the living Father sent Me-- Jn6,57-58
and I draw life from the Father,
so whoever eats Me
will also draw life from Me.
This is the bread
which has come down from heaven;
it is not like the bread our ancestors ate:
they are dead,
but anyone who eats this bread
will live for ever.
I am the resurrection and the life;-- Jn11,25-26
whoever believes in Me,
even if he dies, will live,
and everyone who lives and believes in Me
will never die.
Thomas said to Him,-- Jn14,5-7
``Master, we do not know where Your are going;
how can we know the way?''
Jesus said to him,
``I am the Way and the Truth and the Life.
No one comes to the Father
except through Me.
If you know Me,
then you will also know My Father.
I have come-- Jn10,10
so that they may have life
and have it to the full.
